Earl Barnard, Camano Island
I have lived on Camano Island for 40 years. I have been volunteering for Island County Sheriff’s Citizen Patrol for 15 years, serving as Volunteer Coordinator/Captain for most of that time. Ram has been serving as an alternate Coordinator/Captain since 2014. Several Camano residents started Camano Law Enforcement Support Foundation (C.L.E.S.F.) in 2011. I served as president for several years and Ram started volunteering for CLESF in 2017. Ram soon took over as President,
He was very impressive as President of C.L.E.S.F. by setting up and administrating an annual budget. Mainly through his efforts, he was able to increase the donations and fund raisers which enabled the foundation’s ability to purchase many items supporting Camano Sheriff deputies and Washington State Park Rangers.
